Worms or helminths are parasites. There are tapeworms, roundworms and threadworms ( pinworms ). Most common symptoms of infection is itching around the anus, particularly at night.
Threadworms are usually treated using Piperazine and Mebendazole. Reinfection can occur if hygeine rules are not followed.
